A little Jim to feel alright.

I never make anything for myself, sometimes I make art that I know I'm not going to ever sell but that's to improve. I made this Jim Carrey portrait just for me.

I tacked it up in my office as a reminder that even if you're king of the world and you have a zillion dollars (him, not me) that there's real joy in closing the door and making something. He paints. I write and paint and draw and design and podcast and whatever the hell else I do. I'm over-compensating because I grew up fat, give me a break. But the point is good.

Remember that no matter who you are or what you've accomplished, it feels good to make something. Even if you don't see the results right away. Even if nobody buys it. Even if you hate it. Make something, as often as you can, for a long as you're here.
