“Oil Pastel is an overlooked medium, I don’t make much with it but I really like working with it. It smears and blends somewhat like paint but you’re basically just playing with crayons, expensive ones at that. I probably sold this original for like $50, I dumped all sorts of stuff into eBay and etsy when I was learning to paint and not much of it was print worthy but I like this one.”
This print is made to order, just for you. This allows us to offer a much wider selection of Mike's work in multiple sizes with the downside being that it will take a few days to ship out. Most print orders will ship in 3-5 business days (a week or less). If you are also ordering original art you can expect that to be hand packed and shipped by Mike immediately and the orders will arrive separately.
This is an official limited Mike Wehner art print, only 125 total prints will be made and they are printed on musuem quality matte fine art paper. This print will ship in a tube, unframed. Mike uses the MW monogram as his signature and it is sometimes hidden int he piece. This edition is not numbered, Mike doesn’t want the later prints to feel bad about themselves and feels it’s an antiquated convention.. The technical details of the paper can be found below.
