“Deadheads have always appreciated my art so I’ve painted everyone dozens of times (even Pigpen), I don’t know if I went with the right Bobby but if I get some requests for baby-faced, Further riding Bobb-o I will put make a new original and print of the kid, as a kid! As I write this I realize I’ve never done Kerouac, Ginsberg or uncle Neal which is insane and I will very soon.”
This print is made to order, just for you. This allows us to offer a much wider selection of Mike's work in multiple sizes with the downside being that it will take a few days to ship out. Most print orders will ship in 3-5 business days (a week or less). If you are also ordering original art you can expect that to be hand packed and shipped by Mike immediately and the orders will arrive separately.
This is an official limited Mike Wehner art print, only 125 total prints will be made and they are printed on musuem quality matte fine art paper. This print will ship in a tube, unframed. Mike uses the MW monogram as his signature and it is sometimes hidden int he piece. This edition is not numbered, Mike doesn’t want the later prints to feel bad about themselves and feels it’s an antiquated convention.. The technical details of the paper can be found below.
